The Department of Surgery asks residents to present their outstanding research for the department's Edelstone-Bendix Research day. Dr. Kristine Corkum won the Edlestone-Bendrix Research Day Resident Basic Science Award for her abstract titled: Current operative techniques for ovarian tissue cryopreservation in prepubertal children negatively affect the reproductive potential of the ovarian tissue procured for fertility preservation. She presented her research on June 16, 2018.
