Dr. Laronda at NASEM Workshop on Regenerative Medicine and Women's Health

Dr. Laronda participated in the National Academies of Science Engineering and Medicine Workshop on "The Intersection of Regenerative Medicine and Women’s Health". The workshop was to identify and examine the opportunities for regenerative medicine to address current disparities in women's health research and medicine. Dr. Laronda led session 2 with an overview of Sex as a Biological Variable guidelines, recent examples as to how they are still not implemented in practice.
